Tue Oct 23 17:21:17 2012, original submission:

After updating biblatex and biblatex.ht to versions 2.2 respectively 2012-09-28-17:49 (using MiKTeX 2.9 64 bit), tex4ht seems not longer to respect the defernumbers option in biblatex.sty: When applying to the attached file tex4hterror.tex the following commands:

latex tex4hterror
bibtex tex4hterror
latex tex4hterror
latex tex4hterror

one obtains a dvi file containing

[1] Book author. Booktitle. 2012.

[2] Article author. "Articletitle". In: Test Journal (2012)

However, an additional

htlatex tex4hterror

yields an html-file where the citation labels are not longer consecutive,
but [1] and [2] are exchanged:

[2] Book author. Booktitle. 2012.

[1] Article author. “Articletitle”. In: Test Journal (2012).

Best regards
