Hello Brooks Moses,

At the moment I'm working on a report, where I include some listings
using your listings package. I experienced the following problem:

Whenever I include a listing in a section, the next section skip is too
small. The problem does not occur, when I remove the listing from the
section.

I've attached a minimal LaTeX file, containing some small additional
sections, to point out, what I mean. Also, you'll find the log file and
the resulting pdf file in the attachments.

With kind regards,
Wolfgang Lorenz

Then, a followup:

Hello again,

I've just seen: The problem only occurs, if there is no text before the
listing in the respective section. So this will print out fine:

[...]
\section{title}
some text
\begin{lstlisting}
source code
\end{lstlisting}
more text
\section{next title}
[...]

I hope, this helps.

And for the moment I can work around this by putting some dividing text
between section title and listing.

With kind regards,
Wolfgang Lorenz
