TeX4ht has been tested and found working correctly all versions through the current one, i.e., v2.5.

My experience with the attached test files is that they work ok with svn .4ht files and biblatex 1.4, but fail again with biblatex 1.6. The problem is that the current .4ht files refer to \blx@unitmark which is no longer defined in biblatex 1.6

biblatex.4ht has been modified, updated svn. The test file works fine during tests.

Thanks for the test files, Harri.

I trust CVR will look into this as soon as he has a chance.

I can certainly help with testing!

Just a comment: biblatex is already at the version 0.9a, and 0.9 introduced quite some changes:

It seems that the current version is the first one that is meant to be 'kept up with'.

I can help in testing, as TeX4ht is very useful for me, too.

Hi Joanna,

CVR at River Valley Technologies is the main person taking care of tex4ht now that Eitan passed away. (And I pitch in where I can.)

I had the impression that he had already made updates to tex4ht to make it support the new biblatex 0.8, but I guess I'm not completely sure. CVR, can you confirm/deny? And send Joanna the relevant files if you have?

Thanks,
karl

Thanks you guys for resuming support for / development on tex4ht.

I asked the guys at biblatex to support latex2html (which is the main thing I use for both the web and the M$-.doc crowd), and Philipp Lehman said:
"
I'm not really the right addressee for this request. Biblatex support in converters like latex2html needs to be implemented in the converter, not in biblatex. I don't think implementing this in latex2html is realistic. As far as I know, latex2html parses the .tex file so this would boil down to reimplementing biblatex in latex2html.

tex4ht is more realistic and it did in fact support biblatex up to v0.8. I think it needs an update but I'm unsure about its current maintenance status (the original author passed away in 2009 and I don't know if there's a new maintainer). In any case, try to contact the tex4ht maintainer(s).
"
Any help would be welcome!
