Hello,

I am writing my thesis with latex and I use the listing package for source code examples. I really tried a lot and spend a lot of time to look for an answer of my problem, but I couldn't find one. So my last idea was to contact you directly. Maybe you can tell me how to deal with my problem.

The problem is that I need to define my own language. Although it is XML I want the tags defined as keywords, e.g. "<security:intercept-url>". The problem is that it doesn't work with the special characters, like "-" or "<". But I figured that it must be possible to somehow define these keywords, because XML also uses these special characters.

Any comment or suggestion is very much appreciated!

Best Regards,
Martina Kutmon
