ddnsd (Dynamic DNS Daemon) implements an API for updating DNS records via HTTP requests. It runs as a daemon listening for HTTP GET requests on a predefined URL. Each requests has the following format:

and should carry an Authorization: Basic header with proper credentials.

The program supports both IPv4 and IPv6. Several IPs can be assigned in a single request. Interaction with DNS servers uses the standard DNS UPDATE protocol.
