This page contains only a basic information about ipacct package. It will be updated soon.

This package provides a daemon for accounting of network traffic. The collected statistics can be stored in plaintext files, sent to syslog utility, or transmitted via UDP for further analyze by tagr utility.

A set of auxiliary scripts is provided for aggregating the collected information and storing it in a MySQL database.
