REX is a remote execution utility that runs a supplied command or shell script on several hosts in succession. It is also able to copy a file or files to several hosts.
Rex is written in TCL and provides extensive scripting facilities. It provides a convenient way to administrate multiple servers.

Version 4.1 is available for download.
This version implements hostgroup stack and provides new commands for maintaining it:
- rex group push GROUP
- rex group pop
- rex group swap N
- rex group drop N
- rex group select COMMAND ARGS...
- rex group show

Rex version 4.0 is available for download.
This release provides a set of commands for use in rc files. The use of set statements and direct modification of the config array are discouraged.
The old rc files are still supported, although they are likely to produce lots of warnings.
