Perl module that, given a list of strings, produces a regular expression that matches any of the input strings. Three kinds of regular expressions are supported: Perl-compatible, POSIX extended, and Emacs. The produced regexp is optimized for performance.

The module is inspired by the eponymous Emacs function.
